Our Services

When your dog or cat experiences a medical crisis, animal attack, poisoning, illness or the flare-up of a chronic disease, your primary veterinarian might not be immediately available. You require a state-of-the-art facility with the experienced staff and advanced equipment that can lead to proper triage, accurate diagnosis and immediate, targeted treatment. AEUCC is proud to provide Floridians with all of these capabilities 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our services include the following:

  • Lab work. The laboratory provides our technicians and veterinarians with essential details about your pet’s current conditions and internal functions. Our on-site equipment enables us to immediately conduct and analyze samples to perform complete blood counts (CBC), blood chemistry, uranalysis and coagulation profiles. Data can be analyzed in minutes to provide our staff with fast, actionable results.
  • Diagnostic imaging. Just as is the case with human diagnoses, a picture can be worth a thousand words. Our diagnostic imaging equipment enables us to obtain radiographic or X-ray images of your pet’s chest, abdomen and musculoskeletal systems, ultrasonography to get a better idea of tissue and organ functioning, echocardiography for the heart and Doppler ultrasound to measure blood flow through veins, arteries and capillaries.
  • Cardiology. If we suspect that your pet’s heart is damaged due to trauma or disease, we will first consult with you to obtain a complete medical history and description of current symptoms. When warranted, our veterinarians will conduct additional testing, including the measuring and monitoring of blood pressure, resting electrocardiography, ambulatory electrocardiography and ultrasound cardiography. With the enhanced details from these assessments in hand, we are better able to come to a clear diagnosis and treatment plan to optimize positive outcomes.
  • Hospitalization. In certain situations, we may recommend that your pet stay at our facility until their condition improves. The round-the-clock monitoring and treatments we provide can help to stabilize fragile medical conditions while enabling us to keep a constant eye on your pet’s health and progress. Our compassionate staff will remain in ongoing communication with you throughout your pet’s stay, ensuring that you and your primary veterinarian remain informed throughout.
  • Surgery. Certain emergency conditions require immediate surgical intervention. Our experienced veterinarians and support staff can furnish your pet with the medical intervention, pain management and post-op monitoring necessary to optimize outcomes. Our hygienic facility, modern technology and access to specialists combine to ensure that we shower your pet with the highest standard of care.
  • Clinical treatment. At every stage of your pet’s journey with us, we are committed to giving the highest standard of care. Conducting a thorough physical examination and consultation with you, implementing a full battery of laboratory and diagnostic imaging testing and arriving at an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan combine to ensure that your dog or cat receives only the best care. To promote wellness and optimal recovery, we provide your pet with advanced pain management, fluid therapy, nutritional support, obesity management, medications and surgical interventions as recommended.
  • Trauma. When accidents, poisoning, animal attack or sudden illnesses occur, you need emergency attention from staff who can quickly determine the extent and nature of the trauma in order to provide expedited treatment. AEUCC’s highly experienced staff understand that every minute is vital and are here to provide your companion with the best possible critical care.
  • Intensive care. Critically ill pets require dedicated, round-the-clock monitoring, pain management and medical intervention. Our clean, state-of-the-art facility and caring staff can meet all of the critical care needs of your pet, and we will do everything we can to bring about the best possible outcome.
