Why Hire Us?

The Difference Between A

Boca Raton Animal Emergency Clinic & A Primary Care Veterinary Clinic

As a devoted pet parent, you always shower your best furry friend with the love, attention and care they need in order to thrive and be happy. Part of this dedication involves having an ongoing relationship with a primary veterinary care clinic you trust that can collaborate with you to promote your pet’s general health and wellness throughout their life. This partnership can serve as the foundation for your animal companion’s overall health and well-being. However, there may also be instances when you need to seek out a higher level of medical attention for your pet. In times of trauma or illness or when your regular doctor is not available, it is vital that you have access to a Boca Raton animal emergency clinic you can trust. At Animal Emergency Urgent Care Center (AEUCC), it is our privilege to provide this first-class emergency care to Deerfield Beach and surrounding cities including Boca Raton, Coral Springs, Margate, Parkland, Fort Lauderdale and Pompano. Understanding how we can supplement and augment the ongoing services you already receive from your current veterinarian can be invaluable in giving your furry companion the full range of care they deserve at all stages of life.

The Role of Standard Veterinary Services

Your pet’s regular veterinarian is a crucial resource who helps to promote your animal companion’s well-being from birth and young adulthood and throughout their senior years. This medical professional provides you with the following important services:

  • Prevention and wellness services. You can consult with your general veterinarian about issues such as vaccinations, behavioral issues, spaying and neutering, dental care, allergies and parasites.
  • Routine medical examinations and tests as well as the dispensing of medications.
  • Appointments made in advance or, if possible, the day of a call for examinations or wellness checks.
  • Travel- or day care-related issues such as obtaining health certificates or documentation of vaccination.
  • Referrals to emergency veterinarians or specialists if more complex or severe medical conditions occur.

In most cases, your general veterinarian is your primary resource, the facility to initially consult as well as the practice you should visit for regular check-ups.

When to Consult With a Boca Raton Animal Emergency Clinic Vet

The veterinary practice you see on a regular basis is well-equipped to meet your pet’s routine medical requirements.
